Judge tentatively acquits woman in MySpace case

By LINDA DEUTSCH – 51 minutes agoLOS ANGELES (AP) — A federal judge on Thursday tentatively threw out the convictions of a Missouri mother for her role in a MySpace hoax directed at a 13-year-old neighbor girl who ended up committing suicide.
U.S. District Judge George Wu said he was acquitting Lori Drew of misdemeanor counts of accessing computers without authorization but stressed the ruling was tentative until he issues it in writing. He noted the case of a judge who changed his mind after ruling.
Drew showed no reaction to the decision.
She was convicted in November, but the judge said that if she is to be found guilty of illegally accessing computers, anyone who has ever violated the social networking site’s terms of service would be guilty of a misdemeanor. That would be unconstitutional, he said.
Lori Drew is acquitted for now. I thought the prosecutor made a weak case, since it made MySpace the victim. Regardless Lori Drew is screwed for life. Hopefully, the Meiers will sue the Drews. The Drews are really broke right now. They have no friends and no one is going to hire them. They likely get nasty looks from other people. She is the most hated person. She is too stupid to even realize how infamous she is. Drew has to answer to God and it will not be pretty. Drew and company will rot in Hell along side with Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and 9/11 Terrorists. She would make good company with scum like them. BTW, I am not equating Lori Drew with someone who killed 3,000 people in the September 11th Terrorist Attacks or commits genocide and starts wars that claim millions. That would be offensive to anyone who went through it. Truly traumatizing for one and many are suffering as a result. Drew is no doubt Machiavellian, evil, and worthless like they were. Drew is no different from Hitler, Bundy, Bin Laden, or Madoff. They are all psychopaths and evil to the core.

If I may put myself in the heart and mind of responsible people in this country, I ask you to hold this woman accountable for the tragic death that she helped to bring about. She is smiling and only feigning remorse. This is a crime that can be perpetuated randomly to take revenge on others, if you set this precedent.

Hi Patty. Did you send the message to Javier Gonzalez and George Wu? Lori Drew has no remorse whatsoever. If I had to make a list of worst people for this decade, she deserves to be on it, along side with Osama bin Laden, John Walker Lindh, Fred Phelps, and Seung-Hui Cho. Remember Leopold and Loeb, Bruno Hauptmann, and Gertrude Baniszewski? They killed a child and they are still reviled today.
