Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
FOX News
By Rowan ScarboroughNavy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

It’s a war stupid. When did arresting terrorist become a crime. Our fine Navy SEAL men should of fragged this fuckhead. America really needs a revolution against PC nonsense.
Yes, it is a fraud. Who saw this coming and it dates back to 1999, when it was not as big as a deal as it is today.

In an odd way this is cheering news ! One other thing about the CC paper – just found
another email – is that McKittrick says it is standard practice in Econometrics journals
to give all the data and codes !! According to legal advice IPR overrides this.Cheers

Once Tim’s got a diagram here we’ll send that either later today or
first thing tomorrow.
I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps
to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from
1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline. Mike’s series got the annual
land and marine values while the other two got April-Sept for NH land
N of 20N. The latter two are real for 1999, while the estimate for 1999
for NH combined is +0.44C wrt 61-90. The Global estimate for 1999 with
data through Oct is +0.35C cf. 0.57 for 1998.
Thanks for the comments, Ray.Cheers

without some real time to think it through and debate the issue. It is unprecedented and
political, and that worries me.My vote would be that we don’t do this without a careful discussion first.
I think it would be more appropriate for the AGU or some other scientific org to do this -
e.g., in reaffirmation of the AGU statement (or whatever it’s called) on global climate
change.Think about the next step – someone sends another letter to the Senators, then we respond,
then…I’m not sure we want to go down this path. It would be much better for the AGU etc to do
it.What are the precedents and outcomes of similar actions? I can imagine a special-interest
org or group doing this like all sorts of other political actions, but is it something for
scientists to do as individuals?Just seems strange, and for that reason I’d advise against doing anything with out real
thought, and certainly a strong majority of co-authors in support.Cheers, Peck
Dear fellow Eos co-authors,
Given the continued assault on the science of climate change by some on Capitol Hill,
Michael and I thought it would be worthwhile to send this letter to various members of
the U.S. Senate, accompanied by a copy of our Eos article.
Can we ask you to consider signing on with Michael and me (providing your preferred
title and affiliation). We would like to get this out ASAP.
Thanks in advance,

The new wave of female firebrands striking fear into liberal America
Paul Harris in New York
The Observer, Sunday 15 November 2009
Article historyShe is a striking brunette with a decidedly outspoken attitude. She lambasts President Barack Obama as a socialist and has become the darling of America’s right-wing activists who flock to her appearances. She is hated by liberals and loved by conservatives.
Sarah Palin? Not quite. Meet Michele Bachmann, a Republican congresswoman from Minnesota who is being hailed as a new and increasingly powerful voice in American politics.
Bachmann, at 53, is a darling of the so-called Tea Party movement, which has campaigned vociferously against healthcare reform, the economic stimulus package and legislation to combat climate change. Her followers have been behind mass rallies in Washington and smaller ones all over the country. She has emerged as one of the most visible politicians in America, frequently appearing on the conservative Fox News channel, whose hosts often champion her causes.

Weak kneed conservatives take note. Don’t underestimate a woman. Michele Bachmann pisses moonbats as much as Sarah Palin.
Hero Cop Talks to Fox
November 12, 2009 – 10:19 AM
FOX News
Maggie LinebackSenior Sergeant Mark Todd doesn’t consider himself a hero, but spend five minutes with him and you’ll know that’s exactly what he is.
He and fellow Sergeant Kimberly Munley were the first officers to arrive at the shooting scene in Fort Hood last week where 13 people lost their lives. Sr. Sgt. Todd told us when he first got the call, he thought it might have been people mistaking soldiers practicing a 21 gun salute for real gunfire. But as he got closer, the police dispatcher said she too had heard gunfire.
When Todd and Munley arrived, people pointed in the direction of the shooter. Then they saw him. He started firing at them and they split up. The next time Todd saw him, Todd says he drew the gunman’s attention away from the crowd and the gunman started firing at Todd again. Todd makes a point to say that both he and Officer Munley are responsible for stopping the suspect, but with Munley wounded, it was Sr. Sgt. Todd who cuffed the suspect. In a statement that speaks to Todd’s character, he says the real heros are the medics who then began to minister to the wounded. Initially, Todd wanted to remain
FOX News-Hero Cop Talks to Fox
Meet Mark Todd, who also stopped Nadil Malik Hasan from killing more people. A true American hero.

It has now been exactly one week ago when Nadil Malik Hasan killed 13 people in a terrorist attack at Fort Hood. It is the worst since the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and near Shanksville.
PC Nonsense and Hasan
by The Stiletto
FOXNews.com
November 10, 2009With his sworn duty to his country increasingly at odds with his perceived duty to Islam, the likeliest scenario is that the suspect in the Ft. Hood murders was both mentally unstable and a jihadi.
Perhaps recalling the brouhaha that erupted when he reflexively blamed police officer Sgt. James Crowley for the chain of events that culminated in the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., President Obama was loathe to attribute the apparently premeditated bloodbath allegedly perpetrated by Muslim-American soldier Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to homegrown Islamic terrorism in a Rose Garden statement the next morning:
“We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts.”
The Washington Post notes that in his weekly radio address on Saturday, Obama “convicted” Hasan of murder, having forgotten to use the qualifiers “suspected” or “alleged”:
This past Thursday, on a clear Texas afternoon, an Army psychiatrist walked into the Soldier Readiness Processing Center, and began shooting his fellow soldiers.
FOX News-PC Nonsense and Hasan
PC is going to kill America. PC is just as dangerous as radical Islam. Both need to be exterminated with extreme prejudice. I have a solution to this PC problem. We need a Augusto Pinochet, Park Chung-Hee, Suharto, or Vlad The Impaler. Exterminate PC like what was done in Chile, Indonesia, and South Korea. That would solve the problem. Today, Chile is a success story and South Korea is the Asian Tiger. It’s interesting to note that killing commies and lefties brings on peace, stability, and prosperity, which happened in those respective nations.

Posted: 2:41 AM, November 11, 2009‘The Jay Leno Show” has struggled mightily — but Mondays have been extra-tough.
“Leno” averaged just over 4 million viewers at 10 p.m. Monday — nearly equaling its all-time low of 3.9 million viewers set on Monday, Nov. 2.
This past Monday, “Leno” was up against original episodes of CBS’ “CSI: Miami” and ABC’s “Castle,” which averaged 14 million and 11 million viewers, respectively.

Gees, all that promotions not helping. Jay Leno is a late night person, not prime time person. Also, talk shows like that work better at night.
