‘The Jay Leno Show” has struggled mightily — but Mondays have been extra-tough.

“Leno” averaged just over 4 million viewers at 10 p.m. Monday — nearly equaling its all-time low of 3.9 million viewers set on Monday, Nov. 2.

This past Monday, “Leno” was up against original episodes of CBS’ “CSI: Miami” and ABC’s “Castle,” which averaged 14 million and 11 million viewers, respectively.

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, a finding that makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.

The coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death, the official said.

Dr. Conrad Murray, a Las Vegas cardiologist who became Jackson’s personal physician weeks before his death, is the target of a manslaughter investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed Monday in Houston, Murray told investigators he administered a 25 mg dose of propofol around 10:40 a.m. after spending the night injecting Jackson with two sedatives in an unsuccessful attempt to get him to sleep.

It has been nearly two months. Whether Dr. Conrad Murray is found guilty or not, he will lose his medical license. Propofol should never be given in a non-hospital setting because it is a powerful drug. Dr. Murray could of stopped right there and told Jackson that he would not give drugs to him because it is not good for him and is not safe to give in a non-hospital setting.

This will be news to come for some time. Hopefully, Jackson’s death will put drug addiction on the fore front. Drug addiction is very serious and harms everyone involved.

John Hughes, who captured the zeitgeist of 1980s teen life as writer-director of “The Breakfast Club” and “Sixteen Candles” and produced and scripted family hits such as “Home Alone,” died Thursday of a heart attack in Manhattan while taking a walk. He was 59.

After an impressive string of hits — “Home Alone” is one of the top-grossing live-action comedies of all time — Hughes, who never won a major show business award, stopped directing in 1991 and virtually retired from filmmaking a few years later, working on his farm in northern Illinois.

The filmmaker, whom critic Roger Ebert once called “the philosopher of adolescence,” was a major influence on filmmakers including Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith and Judd Apatow, who told the L.A. Times last year, “Basically, my stuff is just John Hughes films with four-letter words.”

We are at the halfway mark for 2009. After a tough decision on determining who are currently the most hated people. There is always a need for public enemies and someone to hate. These 20 loathesome are hated for a good reason and rightfully deserve it. I came to the conclusion of the 20 most hated people. We will started with the twentieth and descend to number one.

Another no talent actress who has not done anything in years. Only thing she is famous for is being famous and getting into trouble. Even Brittany Spears cleaned up her act and she did have a real problem, unlike Lohan, who is washed up.

A skanky no talent attention whore. She tries to be an actress and singer and fails at that. There are many aspiring singers, actors, and directors who are a lot better. Oh, she is a trust fund kid.

Pervert and unfunny meth head loser. Whether you love or hate Sarah Palin, attacking her children was wrong and uncalled for. He is MUCH worse than Conan O’Brian and I don’t like him that much.

If there is a world’s worst person, than Keith Olbermann is the one. Okay, save a terrorist or dictator. He hosts his pompous show, Countdown with Keith Olbermann. More like “I Am A Dumb Moron With A Show On PMSNBC”.

If there is repressed homosexuality in Fred Phelps, than there must be repressed heterosexuality and it comes in the form of Perez Hilton. Well, he is gay and hates himself. Loves to gossip and ruin people’s lives and attacked Carrie Prejean. A failed actor who goes by the name because he is obsessed with Paris Hilton, another vapid and skanky whore, like he is. Karma struck when he called will.I.am, a “faggot” and got punched. Also, he attacked Michael Jackson when he died. I wonder why he does not talk about Fred Phelps? Oh, that is because he is his secret gay lover.

Proof why inbreeding is dangerous and cultures condemn it. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson had the talent. No one will argue that for sure. My favorite song is Bad. “I am bad” “I am bad”. However, I lost respect for him when he became a freak show. Also, he is an alledge pedophile, which is a debatable. Sleeping with other boys is perverted no doubt and why would any parent leave their own child with him is beyond me. Finally, I do not like all the news coverage he is getting. It is everywhere. Also, Farrah Fawcett died that same day and she was a true beauty and icon. Several days ago, Ed McMahon died and he changed television as we know it. He will be with Johnny Carson in Heaven for eternity.

History is being made today. Analog is no more and now all television broadcast in digital. Well not all. Some stations in my area are still broadcasting in analog as of today and should be off by tonight. I saw the analog get turned off. Not really eventful. It just went static. Anyways, I am long ready for digital.

I hesitate to disagree with the immortal La Rochefoucauld, but I think he was wrong when he wrote, “We are always bored by those whom we bore.”

Not always (though I often remind myself of this observation when I’m feeling bored by someone else). I think that sometimes we find a topic so interesting that it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that it might not be interesting to someone else. And most of us want to make a good impression and avoid boring other people.

Unless you get a truly enthusiastic response from your interlocutor—which is possible—be very wary of recounting…

1. A dream.
2. The recent changes in your child’s nap schedule.
3. The route you took to get here.
4. An excellent meal you once had at a restaurant.
5. The latest additions to your wine cellar.
6. An account of your last tennis game.
7. The plot of a movie, play or book—in particular, the funny parts.

What do these subjects have in common? The listener has nothing to add. He or she must just hear you describe your experience.

Not surprised by it. Anyways, I do not talk about them or even think of it. There are the three things you do not talk about at the dinner table, which include parties as well, politics, money, and sex. However, I do not see emotionally charged topics like 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina/Ike, which I am guilty of talking about at times. Funny thing, it does not bore people because everyone lived through them. We all saw 9/11 attacks on live television and people affected in the Gulf Coast by Katrina and Ike.

First of all, it was not only Catholics and Mormons who pased Proposition 8. Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Muslims voted for it too. Keep in mind that President Obama is against gay marriage. So, is he a bigot? I can see why she is the way she is, age has gotten her and she cannot age gracefully. There is something called aging gracefully, which she lacks. What has she done recently? I don’t watch American Idol or care for it. And no, this is Britains Got Talent, which had Simon Cowell. Susan Boyle is singing and all I can say is “WOW!” She is truly talented. Even though she is 47, it is not too late for her. Remember the late Rodney Dangerfield? He entered late into television and movies and very respectable.
